It's More Fun in the Philippines

The title mentioned above is the newest Philippine Tourism slogan which was unveiled by the Department of Tourism this January 2012. 

The first thing that comes to my mind is question WHY? Why 'It's More Fun'?

Let's start with our beautiful spots like Boracay. Boracay is one of the coolest beaches and places in the world like no other. When the summers sets, you should never be missed Boracay. Tourists from around the world would love to experience and see the beautiful island. Another is the Puerto Princesa Underground River which has been awarded as one of the New & Wonders of World just this January 28, 2011. We can also add Pagudpud Beach in Ilocos Norte. We are also proud of our Puerto Galera that can be found in Oriental Mindoro. And there's more cool beaches that surrounds Palawan, Cebu and Bohol, Subic, and Batangas.

 

To complete the fun we can also add to our list the historical Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao, bird's eye view of Taal Volcano and Lake in Tagaytay, Chocolate Hills in Bohol, wake boarding area in Camarines Sur, water sports adventure in Siargao, Pagsanjan Falls in Laguna, Tubbataha Reef in Sulu Sea, Mayon Volcano in Albay. Where else would you want to go?

Entertainment. We all know that we are naturally talented. We've got a lot of very good singers and performers. If you are not aware of it you got to find it out. Also, if you want something on the beat, you may join our fiestas and festivals around. The likes are Sinulog in Cebu, Dinagyang in Ilo-Ilo, Pahiyas Festival in Quezon Province, Maskara Festival in Bacolod City, Moriones Festival in the island of Marinduque, Panagbenga or Flower Festival in Baguio, Higantes in Angono and more.

When it comes to Filipino traits, tourists and people love the attitude of most Filipinos as our country is naturally hospitable and friendly people. Also, we find ourselves as easy going people and always & still happy even if we experience different kinds of problems. Another is Filipinos are really polite especially to the elderly. This really defines us so I believe every Filipino from around the world is really proud of our country.
